    As the recognized voice and representative of Zimbabwe’s air traffic controllers, ATCAZ serves as the exclusive bargaining body for professionals working in this mission-critical field. We engage with stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and government entities to ensure that the rights, welfare, and working conditions of our members are respected and continuously improved.

    Air traffic controllers are an integral part of Zimbabwe’s aviation ecosystem.

    Within the Harare Flight Information Region (FIR), our members facilitate the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of thousands of flights ensuring connectivity for passengers, cargo, humanitarian missions, and commerce. This dynamic role directly supports national development, economic growth, and regional cooperation.

    Memberships at ATCAZ

    Professional Membership

    Professional membership is open to: Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCOs) and Air Traffic Control Assistants (ATCAs)

    Associate Membership

    Former ATCOs and ATCAs who have retired or resigned from service Pilots or Pilots’ Associations registered in Zimbabwe (accepted as non-paying members at the discretion of the Executive Board)

    Honorary Membership

    Honorary membership is granted to individuals nominated by the Executive Board and approved at the AGM. Honorary Members do not pay fees

    Patron

    A Patron is a respected figure, selected by the Executive Board in consultation with members. May not be an ATC professional but has leadership credibility and social influence.
